Description:

Here lies Thorin,
Son of Thráin, son of Thrór,
King beneath the mountains, lord of silver fountains.

Oakenshield he held, sheltered all his folk,
Raven crown he threw, honored destined oath,
Though his beard was short, such a king he was.

Light of Mahal's forge,
bright as mighty sun,
May it guide his path,
Till the mountains fall.
