Mikasa couldn’t help the giddy smile on her face. She knew that Eren, her boyfriend, was coming to meet her uncle and cousin this afternoon, and she was entirely too excited about it. She hoped it would go well, though she did know that Kenny and Levi weren’t exactly the… easiest people to get along with. Hopefully they would behave themselves for her sake - and honestly the same could be said of Eren too.
He was a good boyfriend, but sometimes he needed a little… guidance. Levi emerged from his bedroom groggily. He’d been in a bad mood because his boyfriend Erwin was out of town on a business trip. Kenny was already sitting at the kitchen table having his usual coffee while he read the paper. Uri was also out of town on a family vacation, and the two were not particularly happy campers at the moment without their lovers.

Summary
Levi sat back against the headboard of his cot, reading over the newspaper about the Jaegarists that were coming into power. He and Hange were both in prison cells next to one another, and Jean, Connie, and the Braus family were in the two cells across from them.
Armin and Mikasa were ‘having a talk’ with Eren, whatever that meant. The Jaegarists had found Zeke and Levi, and immediately arrested Levi and Hange and put them in cells with the rest of the non-Jaegarist faction of the military.
A creak of the door was heard, and Levi looked up to see Armin and Mikasa being led through the door. Levi raised an eyebrow. Armin had bruises on his face, his lip split open as steam poured from the wounds. His fists were swollen, as though he’d been in a fight. Mikasa, on the other hand, had a dead look in her eye, tears rolling down her cheeks. Levi instantly felt anger flowing through his veins. What the hell had that stupid boy done this time?! And to his own best friends?!

Summary
Kenny watched the rain patter against the window of the tower, the smell of a strange concoction wafting through the air. Uri was making a potion of some sorts in his cauldron. Kenny sighed as he sat on the edge of the bed. He’d been cursed with dark magic on one of his recent trips, and the town sorcerer, Uri, had spent weeks tending to him and trying to find a cure.
Kenny could feel the dark magic brewing in his soul. It would result in bouts of severe anger, where he would throw things and scream and shout. Uri would try to calm him down, but that often resulted in Kenny falling to the floor and convulsing until the spell wore off.
Uri was a sweet man, and Kenny couldn’t lie to himself when he thought about his feelings for him. He was a good soul, and Kenny felt awful whenever he broke things in Uri’s space after one of his bouts of the spell. He’d never laid a hand on Uri, and he was thankful for that, as he couldn’t control himself when the spell took affect.

Summary
Levi squealed and giggled as he ran around the throne room, playing some sort of game all by himself. He was only three, and already a pretty lonely kid. Kenny watched his nephew with some sort of bittersweet feeling. King Rod was out on business, and Kenny had to look after Levi for the minute, so he’d allowed the kid to roam free in the throne room, at least until the king got back. Levi’s mother had died last winter of a horrible sickness, so Kenny was all Levi had left.
Kenny was the current head knight of the Ackerman clan, in charge of the king’s affairs. Kenny really wasn’t interested in the royal family - it was mostly just the family business, what was expected of him. He didn’t care much about the politics of it all - as long as his family was safe.
That’s when someone entered the throne room, and Levi ran right into their legs, falling back onto his ass and gasping in shock. Kenny’s eyes widened slightly as the toddler burst into tears and started rubbing his eyes. He recognized the small man who had entered as Uri, the king’s brother. He’d met the man on several occasions, but the two didn’t know each other well.

Levi screamed bloody murder, a sound that made Erwin’s skin crawl, his heart sink into his stomach. He hadn’t stopped yelling for the guards to let Levi go - shouting at them until his throat felt raw from the effort.
Erwin had even heard the poor man screaming for his help, and Erwin felt completely useless sitting here in this cell, simply listening to Levi’s torture for hours on end. It was driving him to the point of insanity.
On the tenth day, the guards finally came and opened his cell, and Erwin, though entirely exhausted and mentally unstable from hearing Levi’s cries for days on end, was eager to get out and see what state the captain was in. He was praying Levi was still okay, or as okay as he could be considering what had been happening to him.
