Summary
Aegon can feel the heat from the wine beginning to bloom in his gut, creeping up into his head. Too much all at once, he thinks dimly, too much of everything, too much of me. “I am still your elder!”
“And so, the gods would’ve been wiser to have given you a c*nt.”
The noise Aegon makes is thin and pitiful, shame rising flame-bright on his cheeks.
“But…” Aemond draws a dagger. “As they say Targaryens are closer to gods than men, perhaps I’ll correct their mistake.”
“No!”
The King winces, knees curling up to his chest, but Aemond is quicker and stronger. He lunges in, snarling, and thrusts the blade between his brother’s legs. He doesn’t mean to do it, not really. He just wants to frighten him. Hear him shriek. But when the heel of his hand runs up against something warm and hard, he freezes.

Summary
“Aegon.” A thumb on his chin forced him to turn.
He couldn’t bear to see the look on Aemond’s face, knowing how it would surely change at the sight of his wounds, so he pressed his eyes shut.
“’Tis not so bad as you may fear.”
Aegon choked on a sob. “Stop.”
“Vision spared. The scarring doesn’t even reach halfway across. And you’ve the look of a dragonrider about you, now. A true Targaryen King.”
He tried to turn away, but Aemond held fast. “No, why are you hurting me?”
“I’m not.”
His hand scrambled weakly for his brother’s wrist, tugging and squeezing. “Yes, you’re hurting.”
“I’m not.”
Before he could protest further, Aemond’s lips nestled over his right eye in a kiss that seemed wholly unplanned. It was a delicate thing – gently done, and unbearably brief. Another cruel tease, and one that sent Aegon spinning into delirious free-fall.

Summary
The King tugs at his brother’s wrists, trying and failing to drape his boneless arms around him. Aemond resists. Instead, his hands tighten into white-knuckle fists in the hips of Aegon’s breeches – a gesture that’s instantly misinterpreted.
Aegon presses their bodies together harder still, biting now more than he’s kissing. “Fuck me,” he begs, in a voice dripping with poisonous obscenity.
“No.”
The denial barely slows him down. “What do you mean, ‘no’?”
Aemond swallows hard.
“Your King—"
“I would have you take me the way I take you. Only the once."
Aegon leans back just far enough to see his brother’s face, pauses, and then a sound bubbles up from his throat – a high-pitched, monosyllabic laugh. More an expression of shock and disbelief than any sort of mocking, but that nuance is lost on Aemond.
His hands fall at once from Aegon’s hips, and he turns to force his brother into his blind spot. “Get out.”
Aegon paws at his face, trying to force him to look again. “No! No, I’m sorry! I meant no—"
“OUT!”

Too often, his nights are spent with his bedsheets clenched in white-knuckle fists, sweating and muttering desperate prayers through gritted teeth. Think of the Mother, he tells himself. Think of your mother. Think of your future wife.
Don’t think of bare skin and flashing swords. Slick flesh, sweat-damp hair, hands around throats or elsewise cocks. Don’t think of fountains of blood spurting hot from clean, gaping wounds. Teeth and tongues.

Summary
Aemond’s eye slips closed in a bitter grimace as he draws his brother’s hand away from his face. Soft, he thinks, unbidden. Not at all like a King’s. He squeezes that soft hand until he can feel bones creaking and grinding together in his grip. “I…will ruin you,” he murmurs. “I swear it, Aegon, I will set you aflame for these things you do.”
Aegon’s chest tightens, lip trembling.
“I’ll slit your throat. Cave your skull in. I’ll carve you hollow and eat your black, fool heart.”
Aegon’s gaze falls to the fresh bite marks on his brother’s knuckles. The recollection that they’re his doing flickers like a thin candleflame behind his hazy eyes. He leans forward, dipping to drag his cheek along the wounds, worrying over them with the corner of his lips. His eyes flutter, sending a sudden spill of tears rolling down his cheeks. “I’d never ask anything else of you.”
