Summary
The King tugs at his brother’s wrists, trying and failing to drape his boneless arms around him. Aemond resists. Instead, his hands tighten into white-knuckle fists in the hips of Aegon’s breeches – a gesture that’s instantly misinterpreted.
Aegon presses their bodies together harder still, biting now more than he’s kissing. “Fuck me,” he begs, in a voice dripping with poisonous obscenity.
“No.”
The denial barely slows him down. “What do you mean, ‘no’?”
Aemond swallows hard.
“Your King—"
“I would have you take me the way I take you. Only the once."
Aegon leans back just far enough to see his brother’s face, pauses, and then a sound bubbles up from his throat – a high-pitched, monosyllabic laugh. More an expression of shock and disbelief than any sort of mocking, but that nuance is lost on Aemond.
His hands fall at once from Aegon’s hips, and he turns to force his brother into his blind spot. “Get out.”
Aegon paws at his face, trying to force him to look again. “No! No, I’m sorry! I meant no—"
“OUT!”
