You felt your eyebrows lift. “You do?”
He nodded. “Yeah, and I hate to break it to you, kiddo, but you don’t have a man problem. You have a boy problem.”
You let out another grievous sigh. “Okay, you know what? This isn’t cute anymore. He is twenty-nine years old—”
“And what he’s doing is acting like a little boy,” Collie cut you off firmly. He raised his eyes and his voice at the same time. “Alejandro,” he called, stopping the younger man as he walked past.
“What’s up?” he leaned in the doorway.
“Guy starts getting serious with one girl after a lifetime of casually dating whoever he wants,” Collie said, breaking it down with remarkable ease. “Then all of a sudden—”
To your surprise, Alejandro was already nodding sagely. “Oh yeah,” he said with ease. “Fuckboy Panic. Super common.”
