Summary
This is my very short story that reverses what happens in Nightwing Injustice Gods Among Us #16. I don’t know if I’m going to continue this, but if anyone would like to do so, I’m fine with that.
I freely admit that I haven’t read comics for a while. But I do read a little bit about what’s happening in the comic world and I’ve read a few stories outside various comics. One of the ones that truly incensed me more than any other was the death of Nightwing. So, because I’m like that, and because my choice is to butcher canon – well I’m convinced that Frank Miller did it and this is Fanfiction so it’s hardly going to make much of a dent in DC’s Comic history. As I said there are very few things that make me angry, and it’s almost as if certain writers want to take beloved heroes, break them apart, give them a quick twist to see what (if anything) breaks and then utterly, utterly destroy them. It’s probably me, but I generally feel that while you can take your heroes to the brink of the abyss, or even kill off miscellaneous characters who were semi-sidekicks anyway, to mess with main characters seems to show a bit of shortsightedness. But this is only my opinion, and doesn’t count for anything anyway.
