Summary
Steve sits back again. Tilts his head against the wall as Eddie gets close enough to look at the bat bites. If it looks bad, Eddie conceals it well. He says nothing and just focuses on Steve's wounds. Steve, of course, is thinking about Eddie again.
Soft pink lips, gentle hands, the shimmer of his rings in the sunlight. How badly he wants to kiss him.

Summary
Steve hands Eddie the belt to try on so he takes it, pushing himself off the bench. Eddie loops the belt around his waist and pretends he's not at all aware of Steve's gaze and the way it lingers on him. Curious, and warm, and so impossibly close that Eddie feels like somehow Steve can see right through him.
He focuses back on the bullet belt. It's his first time wearing one of these so it takes him a minute to work out how it buckles up. Okay, maybe it takes longer than that, if Steve's annoying laugh is anything to go by.
"Need a hand there, Munson?"

or: a sequel to kiss you in a crowded room from Eddie's POV, where Eddie kinda freaks out before battle and Steve is there to help. Then back in the RV, Steve return a favor.
