Summary
In Anakin's eyes, Obi-Wan has been almost untouchable. Somehow, Obi-Wan rarely gets anything worse than a few bruises when they go to the missions no matter what happens. Then he’s almost bitten during their mission which should have been just an easy negotiation mission without any real risks or threats and for Anakin it ends up being almost worse than Obi-Wan getting seriously hurt.

Summary
Obi-Wan wasn’t sure what the kriff he should do with Anakin. He did care for his padawan a lot, probably too much, but Anakin was a lot. There were too many growing arguments between them, Anakin had no patience but way too many intense emotions he couldn’t control, and Obi-Wan wasn’t sure if he could bring any calmness into Anakin’s life.
Anakin didn't know how to deal with his complicated feelings towards his master. He had tried not to think about how he felt but it was hard when he lived with Obi-Wan who could be both the most infuriating person and the most calming presence in Anakin's life. Maybe getting his first solo mission was a good thing for both of them. Maybe a small separation would do them good.
