Summary
Shouta took them to another new beach. It was slightly more crowded now that the weather had improved, but there was plenty of ocean to go around.
The waves were excellent, and it felt good for Katsuki to challenge himself after lazing around for most of the day. He and Shouta surfed for a couple of hours, and then they took a break, lying on towels as they hydrated and watched the other surfers show off for each other. Once they were recharged, the two of them paddled back out.
They surfed until their bodies were sore and tired, but stayed out on the water to watch the sunset. They sat on their boards, holding hands so they wouldn’t drift away from each other.
The sky turned a warm pink-orange hue, and the water sparkled and shined as it refracted the low lighting. When the sun finally dipped below the horizon, Shouta pulled at Katsuki’s arm to bring him closer, and kissed him.
