Summary
The Iwatobi and Samezuka swimmers reunite in their early college years to form motor racing teams, and enter the cross-verse Animated Endurance Racing Series. They travel the world to compete in a different kind of relay, in which three drivers must spread the work over anything between 4 and 24 hours and go as far and as fast as possible. The Future Free! Motor Racing AU tells the story of the first two seasons the characters spend in the sport, their hopes and struggles, their results and disappointments, their team life and relationships as they discover the many aspects of this environment.
Links to illustrations, bonuses, follow-ups (and certainly spoilers) on the AU's webpage on my blog.
