Summary
You were recruited to help 141 handle the Hassan/Missile situation after General Ghorbhani's assassination, as per Captain Price's recommendation to Laswell, and gladly accepted by Ghost who had worked with you before.
Now, after Grave's murder and Hassan's assassination, it's time to handle the Russian threat and keep an eye on Shepherd, but Laswell decides perhaps her best boys and you need a break after the several days of combat you had all faced.
TLDR; You and Ghost bond after the shitstorm of events in COD:MW2 and reflect.

Summary
You were young, perhaps too young to be in Task 141, yet here you were because of your intense upbringing.
All of the boys in 141 treated you like a little sister because of that. They watched over you, protected you, and kept you safe. They knew you were well capable of handling things yourself, especially in combat, but regardless they kept you safe.
All of the boys except for John Price. For some reason, despite the fact that he studied and selected you to be in 141, hated you. He only talked to you if he had to and even then it was short and less than sweet.
All of that changes on one fateful mission.
