Description:

In this AU, Jaskier and Rience grew up together as future spies and assassins. However, later, Rience's magical abilities opened up and they parted ways. The story and events follow close to canon, but there are differences due to Rience and Jaskier meeting each other again and working together. They may be perceived in the future as very close friends, friends with benefits, or something more. Depends on your preference.
That torture scene still happens, by the way.

This whole AU was born over a year ago and despite the fact that there is not much in it, I wanted to save it somewhere else besides my tumblr blog because I was so passionate about it then and I really want to save those feelings.
