Entropy
Noun: lack of order or predictability; gradual decline into disorder.

A trilogy of progressively dark fics where Hinata slowly realizes that the shinobi world is a lot less black and white then she thinks. Itachi subverts her perception of reality, unknowingly showing her facets of his shattered world. Will either of them survive the encounter?

Part 1: Vitiate
Verb: spoil or impair the quality or efficiency of an object or person; To debase or pervert it from its original purpose.
Summary: Of all the missions Hinata expected to one day complete as a shinobi, one of them certainly wasn’t serving tea to a known mass murderer. Said mass murderer can’t remember the last time someone truly surprised him.

Part 2: Cut Off
Noun: a point or level which is a designated limit of something else.
Summary: Hinata tries to come to terms with the brutality of her newest mission. Itachi comes back to haunt her.

Part 3: Smothered
Verb:
1. to kill (someone) by covering their nose and mouth so that they suffocate
2. to suppress (a feeling or action).
3. to cover someone or something entirely with.
Summary: Uncovering a last, terrible secret, Hinata is forced to make a choice that will change the course of her life, and that of Konoha, forever. Itachi meets Sasuke for the last time. Two worlds collide, and neither will ever be the same.
