The snow melting beneath him as the Speedforce reaches out and brushes against him. Sparks of energy trailing behind him, catching the excess Chrysalis energy.
Years of preparation, months of anguish and countless tears have led up to this moment. At least half a dozen notebooks have been filled to the brim with calculations. Plans thought up and discarded, equations written and erased. Nightmares wrapping him in a vice-like grip.
