Summary

Charlotte lives alone with her neko girl, Jinx, in the shadow of a foster father that the law says can still subject her to corporal punishment until she's 25, but she blessedly rarely sees any more. Life is quiet and finally peaceful since she moved out of the foster home, and taking in a new rescue catboy to nurture seems a logical expansion of her little family.
Finn, her 16 year old foster brother, runs afoul of his father for the same reason Charlotte had years before - being caught in a compromising position with a member of the same sex. All he really wants is space to figure out his own way in life... and perhaps to explore his desires to act just like the neko he adores, submitting to loving discipline and control in the same way as his foster sister's new catboy.
Zack, newly moved to town from the city, is struggling to make friends. The only person with whom making a connection appeals is Finn, who for some reason resists every overture of friendship. Just what is the boy so terrified that Zack will discover about him?

Jamie is, above all, a survivor. After a lifetime in an orphanage suffering for being caught kissing another boy, bullying and a harsh education, he finds himself joining Charlotte's new foster home. Compared to what he's used to it's paradise. Mostly.
Between his catboy-obsessed room mate Finn and his tomboy twin sister Chloë, a pair of adolescent neko and two other new boys his age there's a lot of settling in to do. As the last one in, Jamie is scared he'd be the first out if they can't all get along - something he can't allow to happen. It would certainly be easier if one of the other new boys wasn't a face from his past with his own tale to tell...
