Summary
Loathe as Alex was to admit it, Henry Fox was going to be a legend someday.
He already was in the bureau depending on who was answering. Tied to art theft, jewel theft, one or two little sweet confidence schemes, and an alleged counterfeit Super Bowl ring, but caught on three counts of art forgery, the blond Brit had run circles around the Art Crimes division for six years. He was quick, smarter than the average bear, and more detail-oriented than a nuclear chemist. He had a penchant for nice suits, silk ties, and gin tonics with lime. He wrote letters to agents in taunting poetry, tucking them under windshield wipers or posting them to the office directly.
Once, he managed to drop one directly into the pocket of a plainclothes officer without them seeing his face.
_____________________Henry Fox is a famous art forger, and Alex is the FBI agent who caught him three years ago. When one of Henry's aliases comes up attached to a new case, can the two put aside their cat-and-mouse past to put the copycat away?

Summary
Henry turned back to Alex. “It’s a fake.”
Alex scoffed. “You haven’t even looked at it!”
Henry shrugged. “I don’t need to. It’s a fake.”
“How–?”
“Stop asking me how, Alexander, and just bloody listen for once?”
Alex threw his hands in the air before pushing them into his hair. He checked the door to the gallery, in case Fisher had gotten back so soon, then wheeled back around on his C.I. “I’m listening.”

Summary
“Don’t sound too giddy, sweetheart,” Alex answered. They turned a corner up onto Fifth and descended the first set of stairs down onto the F line, the bright orange bubble a welcome sight. “I have half a mind to put your hands in cuffs where I can see them before letting you into that store.”
“That threat is more tired with every turn, Alex.” Henry followed, hands in his pockets and a half step behind. “You know as well as I do that diamonds don’t interest me.”
“But they are a girl’s best friend.”
“If Marilyn is to be believed,” Henry hummed. “I also hear gentlemen prefer blondes.”
“You’d like that wouldn’t you?” Alex rolled his eyes.
____________________________________________________________After two months of proving their partnership's value, Alex and Henry are asked to consult on a jewel heist by Alex's mentor, Rafael Luna. Summary
A young woman sitting in their kitchenette, a portfolio folder held protectively on her lap. She had dark hair, neatly styled in a French twist, and a visitor’s badge clipped to her blouse. Her heels had red soles, a bit worn but in good condition. When her gaze lifted, they were a striking, haunting, bright blue.
Alex cleared his throat and approached her with squared shoulders. “Hi. Agent Claremont-Diaz. Are you looking for someone, ma’am?”
The instinctual, reflexive ma’am earned him a crooked sort of smile. “I believe I’m looking for you, actually,” she replied in a smooth English accent; educated and precise. She rose from the plastic chair. She stuck out a hand. “Beatrice Mountchristien. I represent the Frick Gallery.”
____________________________________________________________________________________Alex and Henry struggle to find a new case after weeks of stagnant work when a Gallery representative, Bea Mountchristien, approaches them with a case. Is the supposed Scythian goldsmithery the genuine article, a historic forgery, or one to cover up actions more damaging. Faced with not only a case but the realities of his own relationships, will Henry be able to lean on Alex or close himself off?
