Summary
After Scully tells Mulder she’s pregnant at the end of season 11, then what? How does Mulder react to the news there’s a baby on the way? When and how did Scully first learn about the blessed event? Was the baby conceived naturally or is it part of an insidious plot, like William? What exactly did Skinner tell Scully about William’s conception? What’s on our heroes’ minds as the pregnancy progresses? Is Mulder able to be there for the child’s birth this time?
CC left us with a whole lot of unanswered questions after My Struggle IV. Time to fill in those blanks.

Summary
Thirty years after Eugene Victor Tooms was mangled to death inside a moving escalator, several murder victims are discovered with their livers missing, ripped from their bodies without the aid of cutting tools. There are no identifiable points of entry at any of the crime scenes. Could Tooms be back? How is that possible? And what are Mulder’s and Scully’s lives like five years after losing their son at the hands of CGB Spender and learning Scully's pregnant once again?

Summary
Mulder catches the eye of a new neighbor, a widowed single mom of twin 6-year-old girls. While she tries to lure him away from Scully, Mulder is focused on finding a killer with a peculiar MO: the victims are all male, their corpses nothing but bone fragments inside headless, hardened shells of translucent skin, wrapped in human-sized cocoons.
This is a stand-alone MOTW tale. It’s also a part of my “Unfinished Business Series,” a collection of loosely connected stories that take place after the series ends. It’s not necessary to read any of the other fics to enjoy this one.
