Summary

"Here, kitty kitty," comes a woman's voice. "Come on out. You don't have to be scared of me, I want to help you."
No way. No way. His dad told him that he was allowed to be mean, and fight, and hide from people who were hurting him. Right now he can't let them find him. If they find him then when his dad comes here they'll find him too, and it'll be all Chris's fault. That can't happen.
Chris and his father lose their home to fire set by raiders, come to kidnap as many hybrids as they can. They go on the run to try and find a new home, but the world is a dangerous place no matter where they go.
