He doesn’t respond. Stephanie doesn’t like giving up on people, but sometimes it’s easy to, with Bruce. He makes it hard, like Sisyphus-pushing-up-the-boulder kind of hard, and sometimes it makes her want to turn around and leave.
But she doesn’t. She’s Robin. Red, yellow, green, and all.

Summary
Jason wonders if this is what he was like — if this is how Tim was like when Jason wasn’t allowed to know anything any time the Joker was brought up. If Tim was this unresponsive. But he was probably more responsive — tortured and broken and crazy he would still give a better answer because at least it would be something.
Jason tries again. “Why didn’t you come home?”
