Summary
“Sunbaenim?” Jeno breaks through Jisung’s silent dilemma. He peers up at her from the first two steps, a hand held out kindly to her. “Do you want my help?”
Jisung stuffs the squeak threatening to roll out of her. She considers not accepting his help at first, so she gingerly tries to go down on the first step. When she stumbles slightly from the sheer pain shooting up her foot, she sweeps down and takes Jeno’s hand gratefully.
