Summary
Adnachiel Sareash has been an assassin for nearly ten years and has met all kinds of people in his line of work. From weirdos to wackies, he thought he had seen it all. But that changes when a cultist shows up at his front door in the middle of the night, asking him to kill the second-in-command of Suncross, the nation's capitol. The only problem? He's hot, and Adnachiel has a problem with this.
On the other hand, Raziel Prentum has spent the last odd years working in the Sol Aeternus guild as the deputy to Evangeline Zebedee. After witnessing a gruesome crime and being confronted by a man in a guild trying to kill him, Raziel grows paranoid of everyone around him. So, when a pretty guy insists on talking to him during a crowded party, he chooses to keep close and keep an eye on the celestial mage.
Takes place twenty-three years before Born Again (the main story). Story of Prentum, Adnachiel, Paradox, Death, and how Sol Aeternus got involved with the cult.

The crackle of lightning filled the air. I could hear it clearly, see the flash from behind my eyelids. People were talking. My body felt heavy, and everything was sore. I wanted to open my eyes, but it was too hard.
A strong breeze swept through wherever it was that I was laying. Hard rocks were digging into my back. Something hot and sticky was covering my left hand.
"Igarin, do you surrender?" The woman said deeply, a look of pure hatred in her eyes.

In which twenty-five year old Amari Grimsbane is left without any memory being accused of being a mass murdering villain. Even after surviving being judged by the magic council of Suncross, he must work with his new guild to uncover not only his old self, but to create a new one. With the help of his guild masters and new friends, his new mission is clear, take down the cult that raised and exploited him, and stop history from repeating itself.
