Summary
Vegas is, for all intents and purposes, Pete’s dream man. He’s handsome, successful, educated, smart, loves his family and is probably great in bed too - he still needs to confirm the last one.

Summary
They settle into something that almost resembles a routine. Whenever Pete gets the chance from his busy schedule of classes and work he goes over to Vegas’ place where the man makes them dinner and Pete does some work. They do the dishes together and then Vegas fucks him on one of the available surfaces in the house. It’s perfect.
They don’t really talk about it. Vegas never mentions it and Pete never asks, because he’s sure that as soon as one of them breaches the subject it’s all going to end. So Pete stays in the tiny space he carved out for himself in Vegas’ life, the few stolen hours per week from the man’s real life, and waits for the other shoe to drop.

Summary
There’s silence for a few seconds before Vegas throws his head back in laughter and it’s such a gorgeous sight it makes warmth spread through Pete’s whole body. He bites his lip with a smile as he admires the man, proud that he is the one that made him laugh like that.
“You have an actual appointment, with a tailor,” Vegas says when his laughter calms down.
“A tailor?”
“Yes, we’re getting you a suit,” Vegas says, lacing their fingers together.
“For what?” Pete asks, a little uneasy about the idea of Vegas spending money on him.
“There’s this event for our company next week and I want you to come with me,” Vegas explains, turning his head to look at him. “As my date.”

He giggles in delight, moving into different positions and changing angles as he takes more pictures, his cheeks flushing at every single one because they all look obscene, especially with the fresh marks Vegas has already left on his skin being so visible.
After about twenty minutes of taking pictures he takes the set off and leans against the wall to go through them, saving the best ones for later. Business meetings are routine for Vegas, and it’s not even that out of the ordinary for him to leave Thailand to attend them. He still finds himself feeling off, fidgety and wrong footed, and it’s not hard to guess why.
Being away from Pete is far from routine.
Of course, he made sure to update him on when he arrived and tell him that everything went by smoothly, snapping pictures of the city to show them to Pete when he was on his way to the hotel. It was easy to convince himself it will be okay and the days will pass by quickly, but when he actually finds himself settled into his hotel room two days in without Pete he realises it’s the most absurd thing he’s ever thought.

Summary
It’s been two weeks of Vegas feeding him constantly, coming out of the office multiple times during the day to prepare a ridiculously large meal for him before returning to his work. Pete would get them all down in record time before going back to studying, and a week in Macau decided he will be coming over every morning after Pete whined about a possible death from overeating. Vegas complained about his brother doubling his work, but Pete knows the man loves cooking for others, and he didn’t miss the small smile he shot in Macau’s direction when he groaned over finally having a good, homemade meal.
He’s insanely grateful for Vegas, because Pete has the tendency to forget about everything else when studying, and it was a regular occurrence for him to go and do his exams with an empty stomach before Vegas.
