This is a mega post combining Days Before Shadow and Of Warlocks and Mages.
A chronological reordering of each story, detailing both Rolan and Tinessi's POV of events to make it easier to fit into the series and will lead directly into Wait for Me.

Summary
Tinessi huffed, uncorking the flask with her teeth and grabbed his face with her free hand. “Drink. Now.”
Rolan complied, letting the woman pour the sweet liquid into his mouth and swallowing it quickly. His body reacted instantly, the wounds all over mending rapidly. He felt amazing, better than he had in weeks.
“That’s gonna cost you five hundred gold, mind you,” she stated matter of factly. Rolan raised an eyebrow and she laughed tiredly. “Hey, don't blame me. Potions of superior healing are expensive.”
“Thank you,” he managed to get out.
“I’m sure you’ll find some way of making it up to me.”

Summary
“I don't need to prove myself to anyone,” Rolan rebuked, towering over the smaller woman. “Certainly not to some warlock who only cares about herself.”
“You stupid arse. You have no idea what I care about.”
“Well, it's certainly not me or you’d leave well enough alone.”
“Why is it so fucking hard for you to just accept help?”
“I can handle this on my own.”
“Prove it. Show me a single time that you’ve handled a difficult situation on your own,” Tinessi jabbed his chest again and Rolan felt himself lose whatever control he had left. He growled, yellow eyes burning with anger as he grabbed her arms and pulled her up, lips clashing together.
“I’m going to show you how I handle difficult situations."

Summary
"Excuse me for wanting some reassurance for whatever… this is."
"Was kind of hoping us sleeping together and me losing my bet with Lia would be enough for you," Tinessi shrugged before pulling the book closer to her face. Her eyes widened, a blush overtaking her features. It was then Rolan noticed what book she was holding.
"It's not what you think-"
"Have you been reading smut?"

Summary
It was supposed to be innocent, a sweet date to celebrate their victory and their reunion. Lorroakan was gone, and as his only remaining apprentice, Ramazith Tower was his. He had just wanted to show the half-elf what he had to offer her now.
But Tinessi was… Tinessi. She didn't care about her nobility or wealth. Didn't care that he now had the money to secure their future. Didn't care about the gold or power that came with such things. She only cared about him.
Rolan wouldn't have her any other way.

Summary
"How dare that absolute riika look at you like that," she grumbled angrily, her eyes traveling along the tiefling’s face.
"Tinessi, are you jealous?" The question left him slowly, a smirk worming it's way across his face as she practically ripped the robes from his shoulders.
"I am not jealous," she lied. Her eyes flickered up to meet his for a moment, and then she huffed slightly. "Fine, I am jealous. But did you see the way she was looking at you? Fucking pompous. Like you were some pretty little thing she could put up on her mantle."
"We need to make connections," Rolan said softly, taking her hands in his. "Stop. Think about what you’re doing. Do you believe that us sneaking off for… this is going to help the business?"
"No," Tinessi shook her head, pulling him by the hand to stand in front of one of the chairs near the back of the room. The mage looked down, flushing an even deeper red as she roughly undid the laces of his trousers and pulling them down before pushing him back onto the chair. "But I honestly don't care about that right now."

Summary
Tavares eyed their sister between star gazing. When they first met her, they couldn't believe she existed. Finally, they'd found family that actually cared for them despite what they were. They didn't care that they weren't a man or woman, only cared that they were family.
It was an odd feeling. To be loved without expectations. Before Tinessi or Astarion, the sorcerer couldn't remember a time when it was even a possibility. And yet here among what could very well be the last days for Faerûn, they'd found just that.
--
A short conversation between siblings before they face down the greatest threat Faerûn has ever known.

Summary
Once upon a time, Rolan had thought himself cursed. Growing up alone in the streets of Elturel, abandoned by parents who couldn't stand having a tiefling for a son, had made him believe he was never meant for more than an unremarkable and early death.
Years spent with Cal and Lia had lessened the thought but it never fully left him.
But when Elturel descended into the Hells itself, he had believed himself cursed. Why else would the gods choose to rip away the home he'd fought so hard to create?
Yet he'd found hope in the form of an apprenticeship and told himself he wasn't cursed. All he had to do was make it Baldur’s Gate.
But then long days and cold nights had nearly killed him. The road to Baldur’s Gate had nearly cost his life and that of his siblings. It had taken friends and destroyed families. It had forced him to face truths in himself that he had never wanted to know.
It had given him something too. Hope in the form of a young and beautiful half-elf that threatened to be the end of his sanity.
Rolan was waiting for the next but.
