There were so many promises Katsuki wanted to make, so many things between them that were still left unsaid. But even then, he couldn’t bring himself to ask for something that neither of them could guarantee.
“See you after,” he finally said.
It was all he could manage, the closest to a promise he could get.

Summary
One week after the end of the war, Katsuki still hasn’t woken up. Shouto writes him a letter reminding him of a promise they made on the morning of the final battle. By the time Katsuki wakes up and reads it, Shouto has disappeared and no one else in Class 1-A has heard from him. Over the months that follow, they continue to exchange letters as they, and the world around them, try their best to heal.
An epistolary fic set after the final war.
