Astarion decides to make use of Demran's obvious infatuation aside from simply using him as a source of food, though Demran's darker appetites still hang over his head.

Summary
Astarion picks the wrong target and ends up captured himself by worshippers of Bhaal, eager to sacrifice him by tossing him into the cage of a bloodthirsty Bhaalspawn. But they aren't expecting a vampire--and Astarion isn't expecting the Bhaalspawn to thank him for saving himself afterwards.
Now, trapped in the same cell, Astarion must balance protecting himself from the Bhaalspawn's dark urges while trying to figure out a way out of this mess.
