Summary
Hamish Watson-Holmes was many things, but a fool was not one of them. He wasn't stupid. He had known all along that it might come down to this, that he could trust no one in his world. Human error, of course. It was funny, really. Who'd have thought it would turn out to be the death of him?
Life is never simple for a Quartermaster, but with omnipotent relatives, geniuses hell-bent on revenge, and a traitor in the mix, Hamish definitely doesn't get paid enough to deal with this crap.
