Summary
The first thing Grian does after waking up in Hermitcraft after Third Life is wash his hands.
He wakes up, shivering even though he could still feel the heat from the desert, and stumbles to the bathroom. He turns the sink on and washes his hands, and then does it a second time for good measure. And then a third and a fourth and soon his hands are red and raw, but it doesn't matter because he can still feel the blood on them.

Summary
Scar cupped Grian's face, thumb gently stroking his cheek as Grian shuddered. He leaned into the hand, eyes slipping closed.
"You're beautiful," Scar whispered, eyes tracking all over his face. The wings on the side of Grian's head fluttered as his blush, which had at first only covered his cheeks, spread further down. His head tried to duck down with it, but Scar's hold on him prevented him from being able to do so.

“Do you think…” He pauses, licking his lips before pursing them. “What if it’s just the two of us? At the end?”
Grian blinks, sleepy mind trying to wrap around that before it clicks. There weren’t many of the players left. Anything could happen, either of them could lose their final lives (even if Grian still had two), but…
“I don’t want to kill you,” Scar says, voice barely more than a whisper.

Summary
Grian drags his feet as he walks into the apartment, hardly even able to hold himself up. He sets his backpack down the moment he’s fully in and the door is closed behind him, and he barely has to wait longer than a few seconds before Scar is at his side.
The man wraps an arm around Grian’s waist, holding him up. Grian’s grateful that he won’t have to slump against the wall to keep himself up and can instead lean on his boyfriend. Scar’s other arm comes to wrap around his waist, and Grian can’t even gather the energy to hug him back, just tucks his head into the crook of his neck.

Summary
He opens the door to the apartment, eyes immediately drawn to Grian on the couch, watching something on the little TV they have set up.
Scar sighs as he takes in what Grian’s wearing. He should’ve guessed Grian would’ve taken his hoodie.
He takes the hoodie he’s wearing off, throwing it into his room briefly before going over to his hoodie-stealing boyfriend.
“Is that my hoodie?” he asks Grian as if he doesn’t already know the answer.
Grian looks up at him, grinning. “It’s my hoodie now, actually, so no.”
Scar splutters. “Wh - but it’s my favorite!”
“Which is why it’s mine now. It’s very comfy!” As if to prove his point, Grian wraps his arms around himself, humming contentedly at the warmth.

Summary
“Ah - shit,” Grian swears, dropping the knife amongst the vegetables, cradling his hand.
Scar looks up from where he’s stirring the pot. “What? Are you okay?” He abandons the pot and looks over to Grian, seeing blood on his hand. His eyes widen. “Oh! Are you - okay, one sec, let me just…” He rushes over to get their first aid kit, coming back to Grian and nearly skidding on the kitchen floor in his rush.

Summary
He looks over to see Grian looking at him with a worried expression.
“Scar? You okay?” He takes a step closer, abandoning whatever he was doing - pouring a bowl of cereal, it seemed - to gently cup Scar’s face. Scar breathed out, one of his hands coming up to hold Grian’s, leaning his head into the soft touch.
Grian’s brow furrows. He doesn’t say anything though, just moves one of his hands - ignoring Scar’s whine of protest - to take Scar’s other hand into his and lead him to their bedroom.
He doesn’t say anything as he sits on the bed and softly encourages Scar to join him. Scar, powerless to resist, flops onto the bed and immediately pulls Grian closer until his back is to Scar’s chest. He tightens his arms around his waist and settles his head on top of Grian’s, so Grian is tucked into him. One hand slips under Grian’s shirt just to stroke the skin there, wanting to be as close to him as possible.

Summary
Grian hums as he watches Scar work, his fingers tapping against the keyboard as Scar’s brow furrows. He’s been working on an essay for a while, but a quick glance at his laptop’s screen shows that not much progress has actually been made.
Every time Grian tries to tell him he should take a break, though, Scar just shakes his head and insists he needs to get this done. It makes Grian frown, but he backs off, sitting in the chair beside Scar as he leans in close in an attempt to offer moral support or…something.
Honestly, there’s not much he can really do. He doesn’t know enough about animal behavior to help Scar with the essay, so he’s not good for much except a sounding board for Scar to bounce ideas off of. Except he hasn’t really done that in a while.
Really, all he can do is stay by Scar’s side. He’ll lean against him, or lay his head on his shoulder, anything to be near him. He kind of wants to cuddle Scar, admittedly, but he’s not going to pull Scar away from something he’s trying to work on.
