Summary
A figure of speech in which a part is made to represent the whole or vice versa.
It is a strange word, for a very simple concept; one you use in every day life.Hokuto Hidaka cannot think about figures of speech like that when the world inside him burns, yet the world outside, charcoal-free, beckons him to.

Summary
A figure of speech in which a word or a phrase from figurative speech is used in a brand new context.
Not exactly as common, but prevalent enough. It can be taken to an absurd extreme. As so,
"The early bird gets the worm." to "I should get up early, so I can get the worm."Another example, "Without fire, the peace of the theatre club can never rise from the ashes."
Hokuto has time to think about figures of speech now.
