Summary
Mike wrings his hands, building up the courage to tell Nancy how much of a stupid, horrible friend he is. And if this goes bad…then, well, he guesses he’ll have to pack his bags again and go stay with Steve, Robin and Vickie in their apartment in Chicago which—is probably his last resort. “I told Will I loved him, twice….and he said no, twice, so,” he says. “It was my own stupid fault I mean…it was horrible timing and I probably could have done it better,” he feels the tears stinging his eyes again, as if he hasn’t cried enough about this already.
“So I ran away, I guess.” He screws his eyes shut, because he’s cried quite enough about this whole situation. “I really don’t know what to do Nancy, I can’t fix this. He probably doesn’t….” He trails, not sure how he wants to end his sentence. Not sure if actually admitting that Will doesn’t want to see him at best and doesn’t want Mike in his life anymore at all at worst will break him all over again. He doesn’t want to take that risk.
OR mike tells will he loves him, gets rejected, and runs off to new york. then finds his way back to him again.
OR or the mike version of my casino night fic
