at that, kinn raises his eyebrow, with a laugh; the door clicks open when he finally gets the card in the right spot on the sensor.
when they both look into the room, they both immediately look back at each other; there's a single bed in the middle of it, no chairs, no couch, just a single, damning, queen sized bed, and tons of pillows.
"i can sleep in the tub, you know, if it makes you feel uncomfortable sleeping with a—" porsche cuts him off with a wave of his hand.
"i can sleep in the tub, and i'm not, you make me sound like a homophobe, that's not—" at that, kinn stops him by the elbow, as he's putting his bag on the desk.

Summary
they've done a lot; they've experimented a lot, most of what he knows, he learned from pai, but this.
this is different. it's different from what he does with rain, it's different from what is in his wheelhouse, he doesn't know what to do when pai gets like this, when he can't use his words, when he's not the guy who towers over a boardroom, but he's small, contained, and he has a simple collar with a bell around his neck, a weighted comfort that jingles every time he moves.
he doesn't say anything in response, because of course he doesn't, he just tips his head against phayu's shoulder again, phayu is lost as for what he wants, until he gets a rope toy to the side of the face, courtesy of rain, who is no longer sitting near the window in one of the chairs he dragged over, but is collapsing onto the couch next to them, having gotten his point across.

"you need to wake up," he says, and tawan turns and looks at him, confused; and this is the problem, kinn muses, is that he always looks so cute when he's tired, and it's reminding him that he really, really has a type.
"why would i do that," he says, around a yawn, swiping at his eyes and moving to lie back down, but kinn throws a cushion at him.
"you do that, because i think porsche has been putting the moves on you all night, and he will make fun of you if you fall asleep during sex."
that works more than he thought it would, because tawan shoots up quickly, sitting up and blinking, clutching at the pillow like a lifeline.
"you're fucking with me," he says, but kinn just looks at him, because clearly, he isn't.
"you're fucking with me," tawan repeats, but kinn just smiles at him.

"the pillows are fine, and it's going to be okay, and you are stressing me out, so please stop pacing." he says, and chris just turns a distressed glare towards him, eyes crinkling up in sour grimace; it's funny, how he always looks like he's smiling, even though he's clearly so upset.
"this is going to be a disaster," felix cuts him off.
"it's going to be a disaster if you make it one," he says, walking around the couch and shaking iggy off, even though he gets a giant, blocky dog head plastered to his lower back the second he makes it to chris, tugging his arms up until he drapes them over felix's shoulders in a loose hug, "but if you chill out a little, it'll probably be awkward but fine."
chris looks at him, face morphing into something that is turning more annoyed than anything else, which is how felix knows he's won.

while rain fixes everything, with the same keen, perfectionist eye that phayu stares at blueprints, pai shoves down his sweats and lies down; there’s no pretense about what they are up to; the television has been set to a random documentary, something about space that neither of them cares about, which is perfect, it means they won’t get distracted; it’s happened, which is why they are on attempt number three, where hopefully they get further than making out.
attempt number three of his second first time, and he knows he was far less nervous the first time he lost his virginity; when rain lies down next to him, curling up underneath his arm, he knows he can hear his heartbeat, going fast enough that he can feel it in his throat.

"you've been stealing my shampoo again," he says, and he doesn't like how pleased his tone is, because he really shouldn't be letting rain get away with that; he has to hold back a laugh at the guilty look he gets in return.
"it's not stealing, it's borrowing—" sky shoots him a look full of fake disdain, but he breaks easily, laughing and tugging rain closer; he can feel phayu still staring at them, even as he brushes the hair out of rain's face, rocking him back and forth, laughing when his eyes cross a little.
"it's stealing, but i'm letting it go," he says, and rain scoffs at him, finger curling up in the fabric of his shirt.

he's not rewarded with a response; he chances a look over and realizes that whoever this man is, he's passed out, probably from the giant wound on his side, so porsche rolls his eyes and pulls his cracked, plastic phone out of his pocket, shooting off a text to jom, leaving early, emergency came up.
he's just glad he wasn't at the club tonight, because he can't imagine how this would have ended without him.

he tries to stop thinking about it, but he can't get drunk when he doesn't have any money, and he can't get high when jom refuses to let him borrow weed, because you can't borrow weed, porsche, when it's gone, it's gone.
