This will be a random collection of one-shots about all the moments that I wanted to see between Kaz and Inej. There was so much more to explore and the checklist in my head just expanded when I read and reread the books.

Stories about the pre-book Kaz and Inej, how they had gotten more comfortable with each other, and how Kaz trained Inej to be the knife queen that she was. How the nicknames started, the bone-handled knife gift, the shirtless scene, or Kaz's introduction to Inej's parents.

The title is taken from the song Kings and Queens by Thirty Seconds to Mars.

P/s. I cried rivers when I found out season 3 of Shadow and Bones wouldn’t continue. The script was ready and everything, we were robbed. The Ice Court heist, Inej got kidnapped, the flower on the boat scene that I would never see come alive on screen. Consider this is me venting my disappointment by writing more fics of them.
