Robin raked her eyebrows, soft thin lips parting slightly. She forced a laugh, shaking her head and the expression away. “Didn’t think you popular kids paid attention to me and my kind.”
“We’re not awful,” though as she said it, she knew it was a lie. Some of the people she’d called friends had been too self-involved to see anyone outside of themselves–Jason being one of them. So of course they wouldn’t have seen someone like Robin, no matter how pretty she was.
And she was. Objectively pretty, that is.
Chrissy wasn’t attracted to her or anything. She just had eyes.
