Summary
Stede stood, a smile creasing his face, and greeted Ed as he entered the vestibule. “Hello, Ed.”
Ed stopped and gave Stede a quick once-over before matching his smile. “Hello, Stede.”
They step into each other naturally, a quick hug, as if they’d always greeted each other that way. Stede noted that Ed smelled like Ivory soap and something woodsy, his chest was broad and his arms were strong before he was released.
