Summary
It stands to reason that he finally finds Dean the moment he isn’t actively looking for him.
Sam has spent months looking for his brother. Unfortunately, the rest of the world doesn't stop for the Winchesters' mutual problems (it never has, why would it start now?), so when the students of a small town are brutally murdered, Sam decides to look into it. But his search for Dean has not left him unaffected.
Alternate Season 10. Sam-centric.
(Destiel references if you squint. Hard.)

Summary
Castiel’s breathing is steady, if a little shallow. He’s going to be okay. ‘Okay’ being a relative term, and relatively worse than Dean had expected.
Dean is back, but Castiel is running out of time fast. No matter what the angel says, the Winchesters are not going to leave him to fend for himself – but what exactly is it going to take to save an angel?
Sequel to Demon Hunter.
Alternate Season 10. Dean-centric.(Can be read as pre-Destiel.)

Summary
So that’s his dilemma. He is on a deadline, he has no idea where to find an angel, and even if he did, and did manage to retrieve some grace to take back with him, it wouldn’t help, because his idiotic angel wouldn’t accept it. At the same time he would let a ghost (which, granted, hasn’t hurt anyone – yet) run loose. Last but not least, he has a growing desire to kill.
Dean doesn't know whether to prioritise his own need to kill, or Cas' need for a new grace. Meanwhile a ghost with a predilection for water sports is running rampant, and Dean gets (too much) attention from a stranger.
Time stamp to Brilliant Light. Set between ch. 4 and 5.
Set season 10Can be read independently of series.
