Summary
James Madison is a crown prince, destined to take the throne there was only one condition he needed to meet set by his father and mother. He had to get married. James only agreed because he knew it was expected of him, not because he cared, so he let his parents decide on candidates although he would’ve been fine with an arranged marriage.
Thomas was a candidate for marriage alongside a select few of his siblings, only as a formality his mother reminded him. She was determined he would do nothing but bring shame upon their kingdom. Love was the last thing he expected to find, assuming this would be the same as any other visit to another kingdom, but James included him and although it was little he was quite taken with him.

Summary
The kingdom of Solvana—also referred to as the “Cold Kingdom”—was avoided by all other territories due to its aggressiveness, powerful army, and the people shunning foreigners. It was no easy place to live, and while other kingdoms wouldn’t dare cross the current regent, they also weren’t keen on being friendly with the place either. That being the case, it was the perfect place for a prince and a slave in hiding to go.
