Fic prompt - i love your deaf!Dennis fics so much, and I keep imagining a scenario where Den is so sick/hurt that he's too weak to lift his hands to sign. It makes an already miserable situation (being super sick) ten times worse because he can no longer communicate properly.
I'm a huge med whump fan so if there's a hospital stay and IVs make it even harder to sign as well.... I wouldn't complain.
(This fic is a bonus chapter for my fic When You Break. You don't necessarily have to read it as this was written to be a one shot but still a part of that verse.)
