"Torchwick is-" Glynda began, but Ozpin smoothly interrupted.
"Rather obstinate when it comes to regret," he finished for her. "But I suppose anything is possible."

Summary
She looked older. Taiyang supposed he'd never really gotten a good look at Ruby since the accident. The hospital had given her so many creams and bandages he wouldn't have been able to see much if he tried, but it was his lack of trying that really let him down this time. To be honest, he hadn't wanted to see what she looked like after. Not because he didn't want to see her burns, but because he didn't want to see her in pain he couldn't do anything about.
When he looked into her eyes, at her face grinning up at him, he saw she was more than happy to see him. But she was also in pain.
That's why she looked older.
