Being a Mikaelson came with many issues, of course for her this included the neglect and self-hartred out of all other possibilities. After all, being the daughter of Elijah Mikaelson meant that she had been forced to survive on her own because nobody was coming to save her.
Thus, Adalyn had made herself three rules to live by, and for a while sheโd thought those rules were the means needed to survive, even if those around her preached a life without rules, just needing the strength to carry through it all. She couldnโt believe them at first, but things were subjected to change and rules were meant to be broken, werenโt they?
