“I’ll always protect you,” Vance promised. A light pink blush, barley visible, danced across the younger boy’s cheeks because something in Bruce always knew that but hearing Vance say it was totality different. Vance Hopper was gonna protect, he was always gonna protect him.
Bruce was completely aware of the fact, he was smiling like an idiot but honestly he didn’t care. “I know that,” he replied.

Summary
“Will I still be able to talk with you?” The words tumbled from Finney’s mouth. Robin bit his lip, he knew the answer and so did Finney but both of them couldn’t bear the truth. Robin’s muddy brown eyes slid to stare at the gray concrete, not wanting to see the look on his best friend’s as he confirmed what the two already knew.
“This is the last call, Finn,” Robin replied, his voice void of any emotion. Finney clutched the phone in his hand, slowly approaching the holder. A wave of grief nearly strong enough to knock him off his feet washed over him.
