Summary
"Tch. What an asshole. What do you even see in him? I know his dad would kill you if anything happened to him out here, but that doesn't mean you have to keep covering for him with the rest of us. If I were in your shoes, I'd let him get a taste of the real world. Let him see that there are consequences out here."
Ecco knows that Emile tends to rub people the wrong way. So when a party member suggests leaving the noble out to dry, he attempts to convey what it is that keeps him tied to the lordling's side.

Summary
"Where the hell did our sheltered lordling learn a trick like that? Not to look a gift horse in the mouth. That herb definitely helped with Hong-lan's cough, but..."
Hong-lan never hid his suspicion towards the party, even when they were the Yehna Tribe's fully peaceful and cooperative guests. Even so, when his fungus-inflicted cough began to worsen, Ecco and Emile stepped forward to offer the only sensible suggestion they could think of: rolling up the local herb commonly used in a poultice to treat external infections of the rust-colored shrooms and trying to smoke it. The good news was that it worked! The awkward news was that it raised a few questions from the party.

Summary
"What’s Emile like in private? Uh, pretty much the same as you know him, actually. None of it’s an act, per se, even if he tries too hard with everything. That’s just how he is. The only time he’s all that different is if he’s in an uncomfortable situation for him. Specifically, I think he feels naked when he doesn’t have a good grasp of what etiquette is expected of him, since he hates fucking up. If Ren’s allergic to not knowing things, Emile is allergic to faux pas.
"An example? Um…oh! Okay, heh. But you can’t tell him I told you this story, all right? Deal."
