Each and every Bridgerton was raised with love, on love, told story after story about love. Christmas tales and bedtime tales, their parents tale, generation after generation of Bridgerton marrying their one true love. Anthony was going to be the next Lord Bridgerton and that came with responsibilities, duties, not the least of which was marrying his one true love. He was not going to let a little (a lot) of trauma stop him from fulfilling his duties.

Kate has been 4th, she's been 2nd and 3rd. She spends most of her time last but that's alright. She is strong, she is responsible, she is quickly becoming unnecessary but most of all she is scared. She has handled a great many things, struggled through every major milestone but she has no frame of reference for her latest spanner in the works: being 1st.
