“Bitch,” he swore, snatching it back. “I’ve been looking forward to this all morning, and now you’ve ruined it.”
She swallowed, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand. “Yeah, well, you’ve ruined my day, so I win.”

Lute's had an awful day. She's assigned extra paperwork from Sera (no thanks to Adam), has to deal with two idiot exorcists (no thanks to Adam), and is apparently deep in the friend-zone (no thanks to Adam).
