“Enough!”
“Or what, prince?” Jisung lowers his voice mid argument, like that makes him comply with Chan, but hes still too close to Hyunjin.
Hyunjin flares, but he looks at Chan and his teeth grit together.
“Get out of my face.” Hyunjin bites out.
“I said enough.” Chan interrupts for the second time. “God, what am I going to do with you?”
It had been a good day, with a little stumbling steps in the way, but their mission was a success at the end, and he would rejoice in the outcome of it if it was not because of this. The tension in the room is tight and pester. They should be freshening up, washing away the pressure of today and calling it a day.
They don’t have the best of lucks lately.

Summary
Chan is certain Hyunjin and Jisung can't stand each other.
He knows there’s not something as a perfect team, and ups and downs are to be expected. But this is different. The heated gazes, the snarky remarks, they are too real.
The tension is always present.
But most times it is just that. A constant ache in the back of his mind that he can ignore.
Until is not.
He just has to breathe. Breathe through it as the doctors tell him about Hyunjin and Jisung's injuries, the consequences, and following treatment, he nods at the incomprehensible words. Breath as he answers his phone and tells a room number to his agent that he actually can’t recall.
Breathe in.
Blink every 5 seconds.
Breathe out.

Superhero Bang Chan is the perfect leader, in control and centered in compensation for his unruly, chaotic team. He comes out unscathed from the most violent and volatile situations that, in this case, have a face and name: Hyunjin and Jisung.
Until he doesn't, and he crumbles down on a quiet night. Thankfully, he is not alone. Even though he finds aid in those he never expected to.
