Summary
Despite coming from a family of doctors and scientists, Harry Goodsir decides to quit medical school on his second year there to pursue his dreams of becoming a veterinarian.
Advised by his former professor, he writes to a certain Dr. John Smart Peddie in hopes that the man would take him on as a student.
He doesn’t know yet how well that would turn out.
