Summary
They were the wild men of the ocean, free and ever victorious. And Hongjoong, he always got what he wanted.
“I’ve heard,” San starts, “that the village has created a temple, a lavish palace on the highest point of their cliff to honor the God.” Hongjoong quirks an eyebrow. “They knew, when the babe was born, that a God was walking among them.”
Hongjoong scoffs. “They do not deserve their God. Gather the fleet, we leave at first light. We shall destroy their village, and defile their temple. We shall take their God, and burn their homes to the ground as their God lies helpless at our feet.”

Summary
“Jongho-“ Jongho grunts, leaning forward to place a ginger kiss at the base of his throat. “Jongho, I’m scared.” He whispers.
A sort of melancholy surges through him. He had never been past the gates, the villagers were too protective and fearful of anything happening. He freezes as he steps over the threshold, waves of unidentifiable emotions crashing over his head.
He turns, watching as the cliffs shrink. In the distance, he can see the little figures of the villagers lining up along three cliffsides, and his heart aches.
Seonghwa and Yeosang learn to adjust to a new life with their captors.
