When Satoru comes to him, silhouetted in the moonlight, he is beautiful.
This is nothing special, nothing unusual. Satoru is always beautiful, especially like this, blue-sky eyes filled with the knowledge that he shouldn't be here.
They both know he'll be back.
Suguru had half-heartedly tried to talk him out of it the first time, had pulled out his most piercing indictments of the path that Satoru has chosen to follow, been scathing, sarcastic, dangerous , all delivered in the cheerful voice of who he'd used to be, back when things are simple. Perfectly designed to scare Satoru off for good.
They'd still kissed that night.

Summary
That's not to say he doesn't feel bad about it. It never feels particularly good. That's why he leaves so quickly every time, even though he knows the only place other than the morgue where he can get a good night's sleep these days would be next to Suguru. After they finish, the poison in the pit of his stomach gets to be a little bit too much and he has to teleport out to the middle of nowhere and Hollow Purple the shit out of some boulders.
He doesn't imagine Suguru's face on them but he does think about him.
The thing is — the thing is that Satoru doesn't want to kill him, Shinjuku aside. He's pissed, sure, he's afraid and lonely trying to deal with stuff in the best way he knows how, saddled with two — well, one and a half — kids out of the blue and suddenly with more weight on his shoulders that he'd always expected Suguru would be there to help carry.
At this point, he's not sure if it's lashing out at Suguru or just self-harm but he's not going to stop.
