Zoro had developed a bit of a worrying problem.
Maybe it was the death of his wife, leaving him with the only bit of evidence she existed in the form of a mini-version of herself. Or maybe it was the fact he only had Tony. But when Chopper was older, though, he started to realize his dad was a bit … lonely.
That’s when the little deer decided to put his dad’s love life into his own hands. I mean, an eight-year-old was practically an adult! So, he had every right to meddle.

When Chopper noticed his father was, well, avoiding him he knew something was up. It was the fact the tiger was becoming more congested, sneezing, or the fact he was trying tirelessly to keep his dinner down.
His dad was so obvious! He was obvious when he liked Usopp and he was obvious when he was sick.
So, he opted to call Zoro’s boyfriend on his phone, which he acquired by sneaking into his room in the depths of the night … again.
