Summary
Days in the desert are so hot. But he’s cold. So, so cold. It’s the kind of chill that never really leaves, freezes over your insides, traps you in the same place with your feet sinking in the sand and heavy limbs. It’s agonizing. It’s the most pain Jiung has felt, possibly ever. It feels like there’s something in him that’s missing and his body won’t stop aching for it until he has it back, like he’s wandering around without a compass and due North just points back to the place he has no place, no right, being.
