A romantic AU building on the Twilight Princess timeline with nods towards its connection to OoT and MM, exploring and expanding on key canonical events because Reasons.

All prose in this series is prequel for Shade of My Enemy, a fancomic by StudioRat, which is set in the Twilight era.

Notes:

Please note:

There is an age difference of only three years between Zelda Windblade and Ganondorf Dragmire in this AU. Gan acts much older sometimes, but it is important to remember that he is still young and hot-headed in many ways when the series begins.

Nabooru Chalut is ten years older than Zelda, but they do not even meet until Zelda is pushing thirty.

Link in his few appearances here is of unknown age, given that he was raised by trees and spirits, and there was a great deal of timefuckery for him, but this is set after his return from Termina.

After Sun’s Heart, his timeline splits: in one, he gradually joins the mundane world to become the adult warrior that becomes Hero’s Shade.
In the other... his discovery of Zelda’s actions drives him to use the time magic to travel backwards to well before his birth in an effort to change history, shattering continuity and altering the timelines so completely that they only vaguely resemble one another.

But that is a different story. ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)
