“I can practically hear your brain spinning,” Tony says after a few moments of silence. “Come on, kid, give it to me. I can get you literally anything you want.”
Peter hesitates again. He can’t say the words. But he can sign them. He sits up and faces Tony, then darts his eyes two feet to the left, unable to look at him. “Want dad me.”
Out of the corner of his eye, he sees Tony’s face fall. “I’m so sorry, bud,” Tony says. “That’s the one thing I can’t get you.”
But Peter shakes his head, and looks right at Tony this time. Not in the eyes, but in the face, which tells Tony that what Peter’s about to say is really important. “You dad me,” Peter signs.
“Oh,” Tony says, breath catching. “Oh. Yeah, kid, I can be your dad,” he says. Both he and Peter pretend his eyes aren’t filling with water. “I’d love to be your dad.”

Peter wakes up with a sore throat but decides to go to school anyway. But when he gets to the Tower, he's wiped. Avengers family fluff, but especially Irondad.

Summary
Peter felt . . . unwell. He wasn’t sure how exactly, but there was a general sense of malaise he couldn’t quite shake. His throat twinged a bit, but he was a mouth-breather so that wasn’t uncommon. His head ached slightly and he felt like he could sleep for another three hours, but he’d been up late what with being out patrolling and then studying for AP Bio. Peter hadn’t been sick since the bite two years ago, but he lifted his hand to his forehead anyway. His brow was cool (probably? It didn’t feel warm). So, not sick. Not anxious either, he decided - he felt confident about the test that afternoon. Still none the wiser to the cause of his “unwellness,” Peter resolved to push through the day.

I bring you up to the cabin because I love you.” Tony’s breath catches. “When - when you were dusted, we had a mini memorial stone made for you,” he says. Pepper takes his hand. “We never told you this because it’s not something we like thinking about. But May was with us and she agreed that the name that would go on the stone was Peter Benjamin Parker-Stark. Parker-Stark, you hear that?”
“Why?” Peter whimpers.
“Because Peter,” Tony says easily, “you’re my kid too.”
